Known all over town as “Medina Dog Lady”, I have been proudly serving Medina County since 2007. Animals are my passion, & I treat every one of my clients as if they were my own. Owners entrust me not only to care for their beloved pets, but also invite me into their homes & personal lives. I take great pride in knowing I have such great clientele who trust & believe in me & what I do! From feathers to scales I’ve done it all.

I am so thrilled to broaden my scope of services to my community! I have received so many requests for boarding & daycare over the years, I finally decided when this marvelous building fell into my lap that it was fate! Someone telling me this was my Carpe Diem…seize the moment!!! So I did. I encourage anyone with pets to come check us out! We’re not just your normal kennel—we are the B&B of Pet Resorts! We even have a water view & a city view!

All our daycare guests have free roam all day long. They can wander from the Playroom to the immense lobby. Lounge in their choice of couch, love seat, bay window pillows, or one of several doggie beds placed strategically throuhout! Our staff is outstanding, keeping a vigilant eye on everyone the entire day. We offer flexible pick-up & drop-off times, & offer daycare on weekends!

We're not new but our home is

It’s a Dog’s Life Pet Daycare has been a small, in-home pet-sitting business since September 2007. We now operate out of our new, completely renovated, state of the art pet resort & spa located just west of the Medina square at 245 S. Medina Street in Medina, Ohio. This was previously home to the Medina SPCA and we are excited to breathe new life into a well deserved old structure.

Home away from home

Our family room located just off of our lobby is a 12×12 bedroom complete with two twin beds, a lounge chair, TV & nightstand. Our other single suites include couches or various size beds. We have something to accommodate an entire family, or even one pampered pet!

play time and exercise

Boarders will be cage free whenever possible with frequent rotation throughout the day. Rotations include outdoor play in our expansive dog run or select a neighborhood walk. You can also opt for half price daycare with your boarding.

We're a Bed & Breakfast for Dogs & Cats

Our four-legged guests can experience professional grooming, midday lunches and many other amenities.
